We had a very lazy morning – we were the last van to leave the camp at 11am! Our first stop was the Warbirds and Wheels museum where we saw some amazing restored vintage cars and war earoplanes. From here we went to Cromwell where we stopped to take photos of the giant fruit sculpture and Lake Dunstan.

We then made our way to Queenstown where we stopped at Countdown to restock on supplies before we started making our way to Glenorchy. The trip to Glenorcy was beautiful with the mountains on one side of the road and the lake with more mountains on the opposite bank on the other side of the road.

Booked in to Bold Peak Lodge for the night as the wind was pumping and the lodge was only $15 more than the campervan site!

Our room ovelooked the mountains where some of the scenes in the Lord of the Rings movies were shot.
